Edgewood Healthcare has proudly partnered with the Alzheimer’s Association for several years to raise awareness and funds to fight Alzheimer’s disease. The annual Longest Day Golf Tournament is part of this national initiative, designed to shine a light on the darkness of Alzheimer’s by supporting individuals and families affected by the disease.
“Alzheimer’s is a difficult and emotional journey,” said Mr. Ford. “We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to support our memory care residents and their families with compassion, comfort, and hope each day. We’re also thankful for the amazing teams joining us each year for this event. With their help, we’re hopeful that the funds raised will continue to advance critical research and provide much-needed resources to everyone impacted by this devastating disease.”
Participants and sponsors of the tournament help support Edgewood’s mission of enhancing the lives of seniors, especially those navigating memory loss. Funds raised during the Longest Day event benefit Alzheimer’s research, caregiver resources, and dementia support programs.
