(Grand Forks, N.D.) Edgewood recently announced the expansion of its South Dakota operations. Edgewood Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) acquired Cedar View Assisted Living in Watertown, South Dakota and entered into a long-term agreement to lease the community to Edgewood Healthcare of Grand Forks, ND. Renovations are currently underway to convert the previous assisted living building into a secure memory care community, providing specialized care for residents living with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia. The Edgewood Cedar View community will become the second Edgewood Memory Care location in Watertown, providing accommodations for up to 16 memory care residents.
