(Minot, ND) Edgewood invites the public to help celebrate their 25th anniversary and the launch of their new CaringEdge Outpatient Therapy, Home Health and Hospice clinic by joining them at an open house event.

When: Thursday, September 13th from 4:00-7:00PM
Where: Edgewood, 800 16th Avenue SE, Minot
What: Join the Edgewood and CaringEdge teams for an evening filled with hors d’oeuvres and wine pairings, live music and prizes!

For Edgewood, Minot has always been a city of firsts: the first Edgewood Assisted Living community opened in 1993, this year marking 25 years in operation. Since 1993 the Minot community has added both Memory Care and Enhanced Care units, as well as a 2010 Edgewood Junction addition that includes a movie theater, fitness center, spa, outdoor patio, convenience store and the Fireside Bistro, a restaurant open to the public. Edgewood in Minot is now home to over 150 local seniors.

In late 2017, Edgewood announced the opening of its first CaringEdge clinic in North Dakota, located at the Edgewood Assisted Living and Memory Care community in Minot. CaringEdge is Edgewood’s healthcare and home care division, specializing in Medicare-certified home health, therapy and hospice services.

CaringEdge of Minot will offer home health services to include skilled nursing, nursing assistance, therapy services (physical, occupational and speech therapy), palliative care and hospice services.

“Having these additional on-site services means that our residents can receive therapy services conveniently and more frequently, enabling quicker recovery from illness or injury,” said Russ Kubik, President of Edgewood Healthcare. “Additionally, the services we can provide through CaringEdge are covered by Medicare and other insurance plans; it’s a win for our residents and other Minot-area customers we plan to serve,” continued Kubik.
